Adds a feature to make lighting look better in Minecraft.
Gryx Lighting improves Minecraft's block lighting by smoothing the harsh brightness transitions between adjacent block faces. Instead of the sharp, segmented shading found in vanilla, lighting is blended more naturally across surfaces, giving builds a softer, cleaner, and more immersive appearance while preserving Minecraft's original art style.
The mod is designed to work seamlessly with vanilla lighting and most shader-free setups. It enhances the visual quality of everyday gameplay without changing the game's mechanics or requiring resource packs, making it a lightweight improvement for players who want a more polished look.
After installing the mod, open Video Settings and enable Gryx Lighting. The lighting improvements will be applied immediately. If you ever want to return to vanilla lighting, simply disable the option.
Gryx Lighting is intended for players who use Minecraft's built-in lighting renderer. Since many shader packs replace Minecraft's lighting entirely, the visual effect may be reduced or unavailable when shaders are enabled.
Gryx Lighting is a client-side visual enhancement only. It does not modify gameplay, world generation, or server behavior, and it can be installed or removed without affecting your worlds.
